Easy Spring Trifle

Ingredients
4 cups boiling water, divided
1 package (6 ounces) JELL-O® Brand Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
1 package (6 ounces) JELL-O® Brand Lemon Flavor Gelatin
2 cups cold water, divided
4 cubed pound cake (or packet cake baked according to instructions)
2 cups sliced strawberries
2 cups whipped topping
Additional whipped topping, optional

Directions
In separate bowls, stir 2-cups boiling water into each flavor of gelatin for 2 minutes or until completely dissolved. Stir 1 cup cold water into each bowl. Pour into separate 9-in. square pans. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Cut into 3/4-in. cubes. Place lemon gelatin cubes in 3-1/2 quart bowl or trifle bowl. Layer with cake cubes, strawberries and whipped topping. Cover with strawberry gelatin cubes. Refrigerated at least 1 hour or until serving. Garnish with additional whipped topping if desired. Yield: 12-15 servings.

Preparation Tips: For fabulous flavor with fewer calories, feel free to substitute sugar-free gelatin and reduced-fat whipped topping in this recipe. Use 2 packages (.3 ounce each) of each flavor sugar-free Jell-O Gelatin. To add colorful flair to your next celebration, vary the flavors of gelatin you select. Lime and lemon are ideal for St. Patty's Day, while Berry Blue and any flavor red gelatin add pizzazz on patriotic holidays. You'll want to prepare this dessert in a clear glass bowl or trifle dish to show off its tempting layers.
